SERVE. LEAD. INSPIRE.

WHO WE ARE
Our formal internship program began in 2005 under the vision and leadership of Pastor Johnnie Wilson. In 2009, we expanded our program to fulfill our growing call to serve, lead and inspire our church and our city. The Mainstream Orlando Internship is an intensive two-year experience that trains young adults with a call to ministry to walk in the Spirit of Jesus Christ, as certified ministers of the Assemblies of God church.

OUR MINISTRY
Our youth services are divided into four distinct categories as we strive to reach as many people as possible with the Gospel. After joining our team, each intern is assigned to a specific ministry, based on the talents and interests they display during the interview process as well as the prayerful consideration of the Mainstream staff.

OUR VISION
Over the course of their two years with us, our interns learn the in’s and out’s of ministry in both classroom and real world settings. As we move forward with our expanding vision for this program, we know that God has great things planned for these upcoming young leaders.

MAINSTREAM ORLANDO INTERNSHIP + GLOBAL UNIVERSITY

Our interns attend a predetermined series of ministry-based classes during their time with Mainstream Orlando.
First-year interns work toward their ministry certification, while second-year participants work toward their ministry license.

Interns can receive a total of 12 college credit hours per year through our partnership with Global University.

Interns attend one course at a time, taught in sequence by our staff members once a week. Classes also require individual study outside of office hours. Courses last 3-4 weeks and each student must pass an exam to receive class credit.
